But, that is nothing to what awaits. You also get to walk out onto an observation deck that is just a few feet from the Falls.
Travel to the base of the waterfalls in a boat
If after you have done that you still want more a boat trip is another way to get super close to the Falls and experience the power of all that water thundering down. It is quite daunting, but the pilot is very experienced so you will be in good hands.
From the air
Flying over the Falls in a helicopter is not for the faint-hearted. A large proportion of the floor is see-through. So, if you are in at all afraid of flying or heights it is probably best not to book yourself on one of these flights.
Hike alongside the fall
If you love nature you will be delighted to learn that most of the area around the Falls is well preserved. Most of it is protected by law and has been for over a hundred years much of the land around the Falls has been protected. Large swathes of it are part of the oldest State Park in the US.
