Looking for a hotel in Agadir? Let me save you some time — I’ve found THE most beautiful spot in the Moroccan city 😍. During my latest North African adventure, I stayed at Tikida Golf Palace Agadir, and honestly, it completely blew me away.

While I will often travel on a budget – I do love to find amazing boutique hotels that offer an elevated experience and share them with you. Tikida Golf Palace Agadir certainly offers a boutique experience a step above the rest – it's luxury on a boutique budget. Think: impeccable service, delicious food, a spa that feels like heaven on earth, and the kind of tranquil setting that makes you instantly switch off. Sure, it’s set on a golf course — but you don’t need to be into golf to love it here. I don’t play golf at all, and yet it turned out to be one of the most relaxing trips I’ve had in ages.

You guys will know me more for my adventurous trips and hiking volcanoes – but after a very busy and active year of trips – my body needed a break and to unwind on an actual holiday! Travelling in October was the perfect time to visit Agadir, the temperatures were hot and sunny, but far less intense than  during the summer months so whether you want to play golf (or like me you just want to go exploring), it's the perfect weather to enjoy in September, October and November.

Travelling to Tikida Golf Palace Agadir – How to Get There

Getting to Tikida Golf Palace is honestly so easy, especially if you’re flying from the UK. I booked a package deal with Jet2Holidays and it couldn’t have been more stress-free — flights, transfers, and the hotel were all sorted in one go, which takes a huge weight off your shoulders.

Flights to Agadir

There are regular direct flights from London Stansted to Agadir - Al Massira Airport. The flight takes just over 4 hours, which makes Agadir the perfect short-haul sunshine escape. Before you know it, you’ll swap grey UK skies for that Moroccan warmth.

Transfers to Tikida Golf Palace

Once you land in Agadir, the hotel is around a 20–25 minute drive from the airport. If you’ve booked with Jet2Holidays, your airport transfer is included, which means no haggling for taxis or stressing about directions. Just grab your bag, hop in the shuttle, and relax.

Jet2’s Solo Travel Discount

If you’re travelling solo (like I often do), here’s a little perk: Jet2 have a solo travel discount code (SOLO30) which takes £30 off your booking. Such a win, especially since we always seem to get hit with those dreaded single supplement charges.

Getting Around Agadir from the Hotel

Tikida Golf Palace isn’t right on the beach, but don’t let that put you off. The hotel runs a free shuttle service to both the beach and central Agadir several times a day. So whether you’re craving souk shopping, a hammam, or just a day by the sea, it’s super easy to get around without needing to hire a car.

First Impressions of Tikida Golf Palace

When I arrived at Tikida Golf Palace, I knew straight away this wasn’t your typical Agadir hotel. Forget the high-rise, seafront all-inclusives. This place feels boutique, intimate, charming and just so peaceful.

It’s tucked away in a eucalyptus forest, overlooking the Golf du Soleil course. Now, I’ll be honest — I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about being away from the beach (I’m usually a toes-in-the-sand kinda girl). But the vibe here is so relaxing, I didn’t miss it at all. And when I did want the beach? The hotel has a free shuttle that takes you right there. Best of both worlds.

Why Tikida Golf Palace Is Worth It (Even If You Never Touch a Golf Club)

✨ The Spa

The on-site Sothys spa is reason enough to book a stay. I had the most incredible hammam and massage while I was there — the kind of treatment where you float out afterwards. Add in the sauna, whirlpool, and indoor pool, and you’ve basically got the perfect recovery zone.

🍴 The Food

Foodies, rejoice. The restaurant here is next-level — from Moroccan classics (yes, I had fish tagine twice) to international dishes when you want something lighter. Breakfast was my favourite — freshly baked pastries, eggs made to order, your choice of fresh juices, Moroccan teas and endless coffee. Pure bliss. You can book a half-board package at the hotel which I highly recommend.

🛏 Spacious Suites

Instead of the usual hotel rooms, you get these gorgeous, spacious suites with private terraces overlooking either the pool, the golf greens, or a little lake. It’s the kind of space that actually makes you want to hang out in your room. Our room also came with a walk in wardrobe room and a huge, spacious bathroom.

🤝 The Service

One thing that really stood out to me was the staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so warm and genuinely kind. They’d remember my coffee order, check in after dinner, and even offered shuttles into town whenever I needed. It just felt like they cared.

Things to Do in Agadir While You’re There

If you can tear yourself away from the pool and spa (hard, I know), Agadir has loads to explore:

🐪 Try a traditional Moroccan hammam

🚠 Take the cable car up to the Kasbah for epic views

🌶 Shop spices at the Souk El Had market

🏘 Wander the Medina

🍲 Eat a fresh fish tagine (trust me on this one)

🏄 Go surfing in Taghazout

🍇 Snack on Moroccan dates

If you fancy a day trip, head out to Paradise Valley in the Atlas Mountains, or take a quad-bike adventure into the desert. Just promise me you’ll skip the animal tourism stuff like camel rides, goats in trees or crocodile parks.

Extra Tips for Your Stay

FAQs About Tikida Golf Palace Agadir

Is Tikida Golf Palace Agadir near the beach?

Not quite — Tikida Golf Palace is set within the peaceful Golf du Soleil estate, surrounded by eucalyptus trees. But don’t worry, the hotel runs a free shuttle to the beach several times a day, so you can easily swap the pool for the sand whenever you fancy.

Do you have to play golf to stay at Tikida Golf Palace?

Absolutely not. I don’t play golf and still loved every second of my stay. The hotel is luxurious in its own right — spa, pool, gourmet dining, spacious suites. Golf is just an optional bonus if that’s your thing.

Is Tikida Golf Palace Agadir good for solo travellers?

Yes, 100%! I wasn't travelling solo on this trip but if you just want a relaxing break, it's a great place to travel solo and I felt so well looked after. You will find it a more expensive trip if travelling solo due to the location of the hotel, so if you want easy access to attractions, you may wish to stay at the beachfront instead. The staff are friendly and attentive, the setting is peaceful, and with Jet2’s solo travel discount code, you can even save £30 on your booking. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to relax in style without worrying about feeling out of place.

How far is Tikida Golf Palace from central Agadir?

It’s about a 10-minute drive from central Agadir. The hotel can arrange transfers or provide a shuttle service into town, so it’s really easy to explore the souks, medina, and restaurants if you want a change of scenery.

Is Tikida Golf Palace Agadir all-inclusive?

No — it’s more of a boutique, luxury stay with half-board options (breakfast and dinner). Honestly, that worked perfectly for me. Breakfasts were delicious, and evenings felt like a treat. Plus, it gave me the freedom to try local restaurants at lunchtime or when I went exploring.

When is the best time to visit Tikida Golf Palace Agadir?

Agadir is sunny all year round, so you can’t really go wrong. But I’d say it’s especially perfect for a winter sun escape — think 20–25°C in October to February. I went in autumn, and it was still warm enough to sunbathe by the pool.
